CloakShare provides an API to convert PDFs, DOCX files, PPTX presentations, and MP4 videos into secure, trackable links that expire. These tokenized links can include email verification, dynamic watermarks, and password security, along with page specific analytics. Videos are converted to adaptive HLS streaming and feature watermarks applied using a canvas. Each view is logged with details on time spent on each page, scroll depth, and device information. Access can be revoked or expiry dates set through a single API call. The software is MIT licensed, can be self hosted using Docker, and includes a free usage tier.
