PostYourStartup is a launch platform and directory for new startups. Founders post their product, launch it in a weekly launch round on the homepage, go head to head in the weekly Startup Battle, collect comments and reviews, and get a permanent listing page with a backlink to their site.
Is it free to post my startup?
Yes. Add the PostYourStartup badge to your website and you can launch for free in an open launch week. Free weeks have a limited number of spots, so they book up ahead. If you don't want to wait, a one-time $19 Premium launch puts your startup live on the homepage today, marked Premium at the top of the list.
Do I get a dofollow backlink?
Every launched startup gets a permanent listing page with a link to your website. The link is dofollow for Premium launches, Featured sponsors and each week's top 3 (Gold, Silver and Bronze). Other listings link to you with a standard nofollow link.
How do launch weeks work?
Each launch week runs Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59 Pacific time. Startups scheduled for that week go live on Monday and compete in the Startup Battle all week: visitors pick the better startup head to head, and the best record on Sunday night wins. Visitors can also comment and leave reviews.
What is Product of the Week?
The top 3 startups of each launch week win Gold, Silver and Bronze Product of the Week badges they can show on their site, plus a spot in our newsletter. The #1 startup also gets a video feature on Timothy Bramlett's Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and X.
How is PostYourStartup different from Product Hunt?
Launching is simpler and less crowded: you compete with a small weekly group instead of hundreds of products a day, your listing and backlink are permanent, and you can see exactly where you rank during the week. Many founders launch on both.
