CLAUDE md places more than 22,000 tokens into context for 240 observations, while agentmemory uses only 1,900 tokens for the same number of observations, a reduction of 92%. At 1,000 observations, 80 percent of your standard memories become inaccessible, but agentmemory retains 100 percent searchability. Tests based on 240 actual coding sessions show up to 95 percent fewer tokens used per session, enabling 200 times more tool calls before reaching context limits, and the tool is fully open source.
