Awnsy

Awnsy is a compact macOS menu bar translation tool. In any application, copy text twice with ⌘C to view a translation directly over your current window. For content within images, scanned PDFs or video, simply drag a selection box around it for Awnsy to extract and translate the text. The translation model is contained within the app and operates entirely on your Mac. It requires no account or API key, functions offline, and keeps all your translations private on your device. You may optionally add your own OpenAI or Anthropic key for cloud based translation quality.
