Back to One is a blocking and shot list application designed by a practicing television director. It enables directors and cinematographers to arrange actors, cameras, and lights on a top-down layout. This automatically generates a shot list organized by camera setup, complete with cumulative time estimates for the day. Shots can be checked off live during filming. The tool offers dim and red-light modes for visibility on darkened sets. It is available for iPad and Mac, synchronizes via iCloud, and requires no user account or data tracking.
