Supabase Free does not include any backup capabilities. For Pro plans, backups are stored within the same project they are designed to secure, meaning if the project is lost, the backups are also lost. BaseBackups performs a genuine pg_dump on your chosen schedule and stores the backup in a separate location, such as our storage or a bucket you control. You can optionally enable zero knowledge encryption with a passphrase we never have access to. Restore data with a single click directly from your browser. Setup takes under a minute. The service is free forever for one project, with daily backups included.
