Claurst is a multi-provider coding agent for the terminal, developed as open-source software entirely in Rust. Initially created as a clean-room replica of Claude Code's functionality, it has grown into a highly optimized TUI pair programmer featuring a 4ms cold start. The tool supports multiple providers, includes a sophisticated interface and a plugin architecture, and offers a companion called Rustle, along with chat forking and memory consolidation. It is fast, efficient with memory, completely free of tracking or telemetry, and designed for you to operate as you choose.
