Banter 1 is the inaugural speech model from Clevr Labs, designed for real time, natural sounding text to speech tailored to conversation rather than narration. It reproduces the disfluencies, backchanneling, and vocal bursts that lend human quality to speech, all with latency below 200 milliseconds. The model supports both English and Arabic, and is engineered for use in voice agents and conversational AI applications.
