ContextSleep enables you to pause your work environment and resume it later while preserving all important context. The tool currently records the state of compatible applications like VS Code, Chrome, and development services, closes only those it can confirm are safe to shut down, and then rebuilds and verifies what successfully restores. It is built to gradually include more applications, maintaining a local-first and privacy-focused approach with features like safe closure procedures, recovery from a cold start, verification of service restarts, and management of unclear states as compatibility expands.
