This platform is crafted for individuals who prioritize privacy, full control, and a self-contained setting to interact with AI using their own local files. Interestingly, the interface for DirectAI is developed with the Godot engine, which provides a versatile and efficient frontend typically employed in game creation. We selected this engine primarily for its straightforward cross-compilation and broad compatibility across different platforms.
