Dull is a filter that removes the addictive elements from Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and X. Algorithmic feeds, Reels, and Shorts are gone. You retain posts, Stories, DMs, subscriptions, and full-length videos: the features you use the apps for. Dull also includes usage tracking, grayscale mode, daily time limits, and friction to make opening the apps more difficult. For extra control, you can enable a PIN lock and a 24 hour delay before changes take effect, preventing you from breaking your own rules. It's not a wellness app, simply a filter.
