FreePDF operates entirely within your web browser. You are not required to create an account, and your files remain exclusively on your computer. It offers eight functionalities: editing, merging, splitting, compressing, converting, OCR, security features, and batch processing. The platform is constructed using open source components like PDF.js, pdf-lib, and Tesseract.js. It requires no server and has no subscription fees. In contrast to Adobe Acrobat, which has a monthly fee of ₹1,749, FreePDF is completely free.
