Hand Wave converts sign language into text and spoken audio by utilizing the camera on Meta smart glasses. The system functions across multiple platforms, including iOS and web. It operates using a streamlined, open-source neural network that is trained on Google’s FSBoard dataset and designed to run locally on various devices, a feature currently in development.
