Honey (I Shrunk the AI) by GreenPT
Developer ToolsCut Claude Code usage: −49% on code, −75% on reads.
About
AI coding agents typically waste a significant portion of their tokens on unnecessary elements: unused code, unread explanations, and inefficient exchanges between agents. Honey automatically addresses these three issues by promoting essential and standard library code, prioritizing direct answers in prose, and reducing handoff size by half using concise JSON or ESON. It also cuts bulk reading costs by approximately 75 percent through rendered images via pxpipe. In direct benchmarks against Caveman and Ponytail using Opus and GPT, it used 49 percent fewer output tokens while maintaining 98 percent quality, and was the sole version to achieve completely lossless handoffs. The tool is free, MIT licensed, and supports up to ten agents derived from skills.
