Hypertask is a Mac menu bar extension designed for Reminders. By tapping twice on your laptop's surface, you can instantly access its menu. It allows you to maintain up to three tasks in a Now view. No account creation is necessary, and all your lists remain within the native Reminders app. It is available for a single payment of US$4.99. The knock feature is included in the direct download version, while the App Store release does not offer this capability.
