JSK Shield is a free, open source tool that blocks ads and trackers on Chrome, Edge, and Firefox, licensed under GPL-3.0. Unlike typical blockers that simply display a tally, JSK Shield reveals the specific request that was blocked, the precise rule that triggered it, and the source list. It then allows you to permit that single request for just that website. If a webpage malfunctions, its guided recovery system attempts the most minimal correction first. All processing occurs locally on your device with no data collection or paid allowlists. Blocking features remain free indefinitely, while an optional Family plan provides parental controls.
