As a materials chemist, I repeatedly encountered the same issues in research labs: chemicals expiring unseen, permits being overlooked, and duplicate orders for items already in stock. The typical fix was an outdated Excel spreadsheet or a chaotic group message asking who ordered what. To solve this, I created labTRACK. It is a mobile-first laboratory inventory system featuring barcode scanning, permit monitoring, and tools for team collaboration. No download is required.
