Loothy is a messaging app that uses proximity to connect people who are acquainted. It allows you to share a unique link with friends, family, or coworkers in your immediate vicinity, enabling direct device to device communication through Bluetooth and WiFi. This eliminates the need for internet access or central servers. Unlike typical random chat applications, Loothy requires an invitation. You initiate a connection by sharing your personal link with a chosen individual, and upon acceptance, a private conversation begins immediately. All messages are then transmitted directly between the two devices.
