MachinaOS serves as a local-first orchestration platform that transforms natural language objectives into verified plans, policy validations, and actual tool operations on your computer. Operating above your current operating system, it functions as an intent-native shell, integrating a planner, policy engine, and executor. It is also deployable on a VPS. The system is available in two versions: a Desktop Shell, which integrates Tauri 2 with a Rust backend lifecycle manager, system tray, auto-updater, and embedded Python distribution; or a Web App built in Python.
