MJSFX is a Mac application designed for creating game sound effects, built natively for Apple Silicon. It includes built-in generators as starting points, allowing you to layer multiple voices, each with its own effects chain and LFO. You can also mutate and randomize sounds to explore new ideas, with the ability to undo any action. The app exports WAV files at 44.1, 22, or 11 kHz in either 16 or 8-bit formats, and can export stems for each individual layer. It features both light and dark themes, with an additional theme builder available on the website. Custom MIDI controllers are supported, and all sound files are saved as JSON. While the app itself contains no AI, the direct download includes an MCP server.
