This free and open source menu bar application provides single click control to launch or close Ollama and Splash, while also removing unused models from memory. It ensures Ollama shuts down using the same method by which it was initiated, whether through the Ollama application, brew services, or the ollama serve command. The tool requires no user accounts and collects no telemetry. It is compatible with macOS version 14 and later.
