Niche provides an interactive map featuring designated locations for practicing various outdoor activities, such as surfing and climbing, with skiing and snowboarding to be added shortly. Every spot presents sport-specific weather forecasts and a status prediction derived from current conditions. The service is currently in beta and limited to Romania, though expansion to additional countries is planned for the near future. The intention is to make the spots data open-source, enabling users to update current locations or contribute new ones.
