Nurses Compass EKG Simulator

Nursing students can use the free Nurses Compass EKG Simulator, a browser based application, to hone their skills in recognizing over 30 different cardiac rhythms. The simulator displays these rhythms on a realistic EKG grid. This tool was created because EKG interpretation presents a significant challenge for nursing students. Existing practice resources are often expensive or limited to static flashcard formats. The goal was to develop an interactive resource that allows students to observe rhythms as they unfold in real time, mirroring the experience of monitoring a patient at the bedside.
