We are tired of AI assistants that give overly lengthy and complicated answers. I developed plainspeak to fix this issue. It provides your agent with a brief collection of writing guidelines applied to each response: simple vocabulary, concise sentences, straightforward phrasing, no unnecessary content, and no em dashes. Set it up once and your agent maintains this style consistently. Compatible with Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, OpenCode, Cursor, Windsurf, Cline, and similar agents. Open source. MIT licensed. No API key required.
