After analyzing 1,573 actual Claude Code sessions, we discovered that skills are activated in just 4% of sessions, while 26% are abandoned within the first minute. We also determined that error patterns occurring in the initial two minutes can predict session failure. This insight led to the creation of Rudel, which we are now launching publicly. Rudel provides your development team with a dashboard to monitor token consumption, session behaviors, error occurrences, and quality indicators for every team member. It is also compatible with Codex. The tool is free, open source, and can be self-hosted.
