Your coding assistant might review the code yet overlook why you dismissed a previous method. Selvedge maintains that background: it deliberately logs choices, abandoned directions, explanations, and conditions for revisiting them. Access the timeline via MCP or a Python CLI before making another attempt. All entries are stored in a local SQLite database. The tool is MIT licensed, requires no account, and Selvedge itself makes no LLM calls. Test the included demo using a temporary database, then integrate it into your development process.
