I trained machines to interpret historical newspapers, providing them with a 250-year archive of information. This process has extracted over six million stories, distinguishing advertisements from editorial content and organizing everything into categories. Users can perform semantic searches or employ a personal AI research assistant to retrieve original articles with complete text extraction. They can also create and share curated collections. To my knowledge, this is a unique achievement; the data is not available through Google or any large language model, but exclusively on SNEWPAPERS.
