StrictCodeIDE is a macOS code editor designed for C, C++, and Java. It features a real Exam Mode that enforces strict conditions by disabling copy and paste, preventing app switching, cutting internet access, running a countdown timer, and limiting compile and run attempts. I created it after observing that my school's "no cheating" policy for coding exams relied solely on an honor system with no actual enforcement. The tool is free and requires no signup.
