SynapseClean captures webpage selections and converts them into tidy Markdown outlines before they reach Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini. Its two-stage process works as follows: a rules engine instantly removes unwanted formatting without any network requests, while an optional Gemini Nano step further refines the text in the background if Chrome's Prompt API is active, typically reducing large pastes by about ninety percent. When Gemini is processing, wait for the completion notification before pasting. It activates through automatic copying, the Alt+Shift+C shortcut, or the browser context menu. The tool is MIT licensed and will remain free indefinitely.
