Mac's built in Archive Utility immediately unpacks all files upon opening a zip, offering no preview or option to select individual items. It also still lacks native RAR support, which is surprising for 2026. Unzipr was created to address these issues, letting you view archive contents before extraction, retrieve only specific files, password protect your zips, and compress using 7Z. Developed with Flutter and native Swift, it features a clean glassmorphic design on macOS.
