Volt provides a comprehensive API development solution within a compact ~4 MB file. Constructed entirely in Zig without external dependencies, Volt utilizes plain text volt files directly within your Git repository, eliminating the need for accounts, cloud services, telemetry, or Electron. It encompasses requests, testing, mocking, load testing, import/export functionality, and a web UI, mirroring Postman's capabilities at a fraction of the size, specifically 1/100th. Volt initiates in under 10 milliseconds and consumes 5 MB of RAM. Importation from Postman, Insomnia, or OpenAPI is achieved with a single command, and exportation is supported across 18 programming languages. Integrated CI/CD features JUnit report generation.
