YourLume provides students with a free, AI-enhanced workspace that consolidates their scattered applications. It allows you to search over 250 million academic papers via OpenAlex, read PDFs directly, and export citations in six formats. You can also take detailed notes, manage tasks, maintain a journal, and enter a focused state with more than 100 backgrounds and eight types of ambient sound. All of this operates seamlessly in a single, elegant tab without any setup or learning curve. The upcoming Lume Learn feature, launching shortly, will add AI summaries, adaptive quizzes, flashcards, and a personal AI tutor named Ayan. The platform is in open beta and will remain free indefinitely.
