About

ClipSalvage recovers deleted Tesla Sentry Mode and Dashcam clips from USB drives — after a format, file-system corruption, or deletion. It scans raw sectors for MP4 signatures, bypassing the file system entirely, so clips come back even when the file system is gone. It also decrypts Tesla's encrypted clips (vehicle software 2026.20+). One in-app Tesla sign-in fetches your keys; everything after that runs offline. Partially-overwritten clips are repaired into playable video. Built around Tesla's format: it identifies every camera position on both hardware generations (6 on AI4/HW4, 4 on AI3/HW3), recovers original filenames, groups clips by Sentry event, generates thumbnails, and scores each clip 0–100 for confidence. Everything runs locally — no footage is uploaded. Free trial previews every clip: 3 recoveries and 30 encrypted-clip decryptions at no cost. Decrypt $9.99, Pro $29 — one-time, no subscription. macOS (Apple Silicon) and Windows (x64/ARM64).
