About

TaskPocket is a task manager for people who want to write things down and get on with their day. It's built by one developer who got tired of to-do apps that need more setup than the work itself. The whole app is an inbox, Today, Upcoming, Someday, and projects grouped into areas. There's nothing to design and no method to learn first. You type tasks the way you'd say them: "water the plants every other saturday at 10am" gets a date, a repeat, and a reminder. It's a fixed parser, not a language model, so the same sentence always gives the same task. Every task can hold notes, a checklist, tags, and files. Pictures and PDFs open right in the browser. There's no AI inside, but a public REST API and an MCP server let you connect Claude or ChatGPT. It runs in any browser, and the iPhone app works offline. There's no Android app yet, no sharing or teams, and no import from other apps. The free plan has unlimited tasks, 5 projects, and 2 areas.
